South Shore Home Furniture Policies

Payment Policies We accept the following payment methods: cash, personal checks, credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express), and financing options (through SNAP Finance or Synchrony).

  • Special order purchases require a 50% deposit at the time of sale. If financing the remaining balance, a 25% deposit is required instead.
  • All other orders (non-special) must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • Stocked furniture and mattresses can be financed for the full amount with no deposit required.
  • Full payment or approved financing must be completed before scheduling delivery.
  • Returned checks due to insufficient funds incur a $50 fee and will not be redeposited.

Delivery & Removal Policies

  • Any changes to a scheduled delivery made within 48 hours of the delivery date may result in an additional delivery fee.
  • Customers are responsible for measuring all doorways, hallways, and pathways in their home to confirm that purchased items will fit. If an item does not fit upon arrival, the customer remains responsible for the delivery fee.
  • Ensure a clear and unobstructed path into and throughout the home that is wider than the items being delivered.
  • For safety reasons, all snow and ice must be fully cleared from driveways, walkways, and entrances down to the pavement.
  • To qualify for old item removal (when offered), the old furniture must be fully prepared and ready for removal at the time of delivery. Otherwise, a $99 additional return removal fee will apply, plus any standard removal charges.

Cancellations & Returns

Cancellations

  • Stocked items may be canceled at no charge if requested up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Changes or cancellations to special orders after 3 days from the purchase date will incur a 30% restocking fee. Any remaining balance will be issued as a store credit only.
  • Clearance and floor sample items are sold "as-is," carry no manufacturer warranties, and are considered final sales with no cancellation or return options.

Return Policies

  • Stocked items may be returned within 3 days of receipt if they are in "new" (unused and undamaged) condition. Returns are eligible for store credit only, minus any applicable delivery and pick-up fees.
  • Special order merchandise is non-returnable under any circumstances.
  • Sales of mattresses, box springs, adjustable bases, mattress protectors, and pillows are final and non-returnable.

Removal of Old Furniture We provide removal services for old furniture for an additional fee. Please refer to the removal charges table provided below or contact us directly with any questions.
